Chasing Progress?

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop chasing proof of change.

Chasing Progress?

You try a mindset shift. You do the journaling. You get still, and listen, and even feel a little lighter.

Then… two days later, you catch yourself wondering:

“Did it work? Am I making progress?”

And just like that, you’re back in the loop.

Here’s the thing: that loop isn’t failure. It’s just a sign your nervous system is still learning to feel safe with change.

1. 🧠 What No One Tells You

You can do the work, perfectly. You can rewrite the story.

You can catch the limiting belief and replace it with something more expansive. But if you're secretly measuring yourself every day for results, you’re still reinforcing lack.

“I’ll relax when I know it’s working” = it’s not safe to relax yet.

And that’s the work.

2. ✨ Try This Instead

Step 1: Notice: Gently observe the old pattern with curiosity - not urgency.

Step 2: Soften: Ask:

  • What’s a softer story I could lean into right now?

  • What would this feel like if I trusted it was already shifting?

3. 💌 Trust

Sit in a place of knowing. Start simple.

  • Tomorrow, the sun will rise.

  • Tonight, it will set.

You already know that. Even if you can’t fully feel the knowing yet, spend 60 seconds just imagining what it would feel like to trust it.

Why? Because if you can imagine it - you can move toward it. And that’s enough.

A Great News Day Powerful Takeaway

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop chasing proof of change. You’ve already shifted - and you’re safe to let it unfold.
